SELECTION OF BLOWERSThe following information is required to select the proper type and size of blower:- Cubic feet of air or gas per minute to be moved. (CFM)
- Static pressure or resistance in inches of water column estimated to move the air through the system. (S.P.)
- Density of the air or gas, related to temperature, altitude, etc.
- Is the gas or air corrosive or abrasive?
- Whether fans are to operate single or parallel on any one duct?
- Nature of the load, such as variable air quantities or pressures.
